Upon being asked to display Shrike again, the artist chose to display the video, covering the television with a black velvet shroud, embroidered with the words "I AM DONE WITH THIS FOR ME" as a way of ending the cycle, and not opening old wounds just for the opportunity to show the piece. All that remained was the deafening sound of the Shrike, no poem, a bleak echo of the lasting effects of trauma.
